Dear Fandom: Why aren’t there any Doctor/Rose police AUs where John “the Doctor” Smith cycles through partners like a bicycle, and never wants to get attached because THEY ALWAYS LEAVE ME?  New recruit Rose Tyler comes along and she just might change things.  OR WILL SHE GET REASSIGNED TO SANDFORD WITH NO HOPE OF RETURN BEFORE HE UTTERS THE L WORD?  (“Larceny,” that is.  The Doctor’s always wanted to share that kind of a case with someone.)
